Beta Service Notice

This service is currently in beta. Feature changes, data resets, etc. may occur during stabilization and will be announced in advance.

Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the conditions, procedures, rights, obligations and responsibilities between Anote (hereinafter "the Company") and users of the Anote service (hereinafter "the Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • 1."Service" refers to the life-recording and management platform provided by the Company through the anote.life domain and related applications.
  • 2."User" refers to any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
  • 3."Content" refers to all information recorded or uploaded by users, including text, photos, videos, and files.
  • 4."Repository" refers to a unit space for organizing and managing user records.

Article 3 (Service Description)

The Company provides the following services:

  • DashboardRepository-based record management, commit history, Contribution Graph
  • Goals & HabitsGoal setting & tracking, habit pipeline management, streak tracking
  • Journal & CalendarJournaling, calendar scheduling, mood tracking
  • ArchiveVideo/photo/audio records, category management, external sharing
  • FinanceIncome & expense tracking, budget management, analytics
  • Teams & OrgsTeam creation & participation, rankings, team activity management
  • Public ProfilesUser profile pages, public repository pages

Article 4 (Formation of Agreement)

  • 1.The agreement is formed when the user agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and completes registration.
  • 2.Registration is available via email or social accounts (Google, GitHub).
  • 3.The Company may refuse registration or restrict use in the following cases:
  • ·Using someone else's identity or providing false information
  • ·Disrupting service operations or using the service maliciously
  • ·Violating applicable laws or these Terms

Article 5 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in the following:

  • ·Unauthorized collection or use of others' personal information or accounts
  • ·Distributing illegal content or infringing copyrights through the Service
  • ·Disrupting service operations (hacking, excessive automated requests, etc.)
  • ·Any other conduct that violates applicable laws

Article 6 (Content Rights & Management)

  • 1.Copyright of content recorded or uploaded by users belongs to the user.
  • 2.Content set to "public" may be viewed by other users and non-users, and may be indexed by search engines.
  • 3.The Company may use user content in statistical and anonymized form for service operation and improvement.
  • 4.Users may edit or delete their content at any time. All data is deleted upon account deletion.

Article 7 (File Upload & Storage)

  • 1.Files uploaded by users (photos, videos, etc.) are securely stored in cloud storage.
  • 2.File size limits and allowed formats are subject to service policy and may change with prior notice.
  • 3.Illegal content (pornography, copyright-infringing material, etc.) may be removed without prior notice.

Article 8 (Service Fees)

  • 1.The Service is offered in Free and Pro (paid) plans.
  • 2.Pricing, payment methods, and features for the paid plan can be found on the pricing page.
  • 3.Pricing and features may change with prior notice.

Article 9 (Service Changes & Interruptions)

  • 1.The Company may add, modify, or discontinue features. Significant changes will be announced in advance via in-app notice or email.
  • 2.Advance notice may not be possible for service interruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters or system failures.

Article 10 (Beta Service)

The Service is currently operating as a beta version.

  • ·Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time during the beta period.
  • ·If a data reset is required for stabilization, it will proceed after at least 7 days' notice.
  • ·The Company bears no obligation to compensate for data loss resulting from resets.
  • ·Upon conclusion of the beta period, these Terms will transition to the official version. Users will be notified in advance.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

  • 1.The Company is not liable for service interruptions caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters or system failures.
  • 2.Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of data they enter.
  • 3.The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes between users or between users and third parties, and is not liable for resulting damages.

Article 12 (Changes to Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms as needed. Changes will be announced via in-app notice or email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Article 13 (Governing Law & Jurisdiction)

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court with competent jurisdiction over the Company's registered address.
